Job summary

Purus Healthcare Ltd in Leominster is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our part-time, zero-hour team. You will provide person-centred care to residents and support daily living activities with compassion and professionalism.

Our role emphasises dignity, respectful interaction, and meticulous record-keeping. DBS clearance is desirable, and sponsorship is not available. You will work closely with residents, families and the care team to ensure wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Carer is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a care home environment.
• DBS clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred personal care to residents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (washing, dressing, eating, mobility).
• Support residents with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Observe and report changes in health, wellbeing or behaviour.
• Maintain accurate daily care records and documentation.
• Follow health, safety, safeguarding and infection-control procedures.
• Collaborate with residents, families and care team.
