Job summary

Skycare in Bourne, PE10, is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support people in home care, private sector and supported living. The role is full-time with 3-4 shifts per week, including weekends, at £12.81 per hour. DBS checks and references are required, with ongoing training and progression.

You will work under the Registered Manager to deliver person-centred care, upholding dignity and independence for clients in our care settings.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 6 months care assistant experience preferred.
• Passion for elderly care and strong values of integrity, respect and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities to ensure comfort and dignity.
• Support mobility, feeding, washing, dressing and personal care.
• Record care notes and follow care plans as instructed.
• Respond to Nursecall and maintain clear communication with the team.
• Assist with meals, maintain cleanliness and safety in the care environment.
• Support residents with dignity and respect during all interactions.
