Job summary

Skycare in Woodchurch near Birkenhead is hiring Healthcare Assistants to join our nursing home. This permanent, full-time role offers 33–44 hours per week with shifts day and night. Earn £12.71–£12.82 per hour and become part of a supportive team dedicated to resident wellbeing.

You will support residents with daily living, assist with care needs, and uphold dignity while following care plans. DBS and two references required; sponsorship not provided; right to work in the UK essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with the relevant service in a nursing home is mandatory.
• Experience with dementia, brain injury and nursing.
• Clear DBS and 2 satisfactory references.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of care by supporting and assisting residents with daily living.
• Assist residents with care needs (physical, emotional, spiritual).
• Provide supervision and attention to maintain residents' comfort and dignity.
• Observe care planning and complete daily records as instructed.
• Assist in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies.
