Job summary

Skycare is recruiting two Registered Nurses for our Bourne, PE10 based care home. The role is full-time (44 hours per week) with day/night 12-hour shifts. Local nurses able to commute are encouraged to apply and attend face-to-face interviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year UK RN experience.
• Valid NMC PIN with no restrictions.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience with elderly care.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Ability to deliver nursing care in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and flexible approach.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Clear DBS and two references.
• Up-to-date practice knowledge and NMC Code awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assess health problems, develop and implement care plans, and maintain medical records.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long-term residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide direct patient care including wound care, bathing, feeding and vital signs monitoring.
• Document health status and communicate with families and healthcare teams.
• Supervise and support junior staff and care workers.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
