Job summary

Practice Plus Group - Health in Justice in Lewes is seeking an Administrator to join the team at HMP Lewes, a busy Category B male prison. This part-time role (15 hours/week) offers 8am–4pm shifts on Mon and Thu with negotiation on schedule. Previous healthcare admin experience is essential.

Salary up to £11,429.60 per year, pro-rated for hours worked. The successful candidate will support the healthcare team across wings, clinics, inpatient facilities, and reception services, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare administration is required.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with hospital or prison healthcare processes is a plus.
• Proficient in using MS Office and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for healthcare team and arrange appointments.
• Manage multiple email inboxes and use SystemOne.
• Coordinate hospital appointments with the wider prison team.
• Update trackers and spreadsheets for hospital appointments and admissions.
• Perform general admin tasks such as scanning and post.
