• Attending regular site management meetings, including highlighting areas of improvement to the Directors.

• Assisting with insurance claims and queries.
• Procuring relevant products, services, and equipment in relation to site overheads and dealing with queries.
• Managing key supplier contracts (e.g. utilities) and negotiating and completing contract tenders.
• Compliance with environmental agency schemes.
• Complete and review accreditations held by the business.

Health, Safety and Facilities Manager – Lloyd Ltd Head Office

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety and Facilities Manager to join our Head Office team at Lloyd Ltd.

This is a unique, combined role with a broad remit, looking after both health and safety and procurement. This role will involve working closely with our depots across the North of England and South of Scotland meaning we can consider applicants within reasonable commuting distance of any of our Lloyd Ltd locations.

This is the ideal opportunity for an established manager, or an experienced individual looking to progress to the next step in their career.

What you’ll be doing:

• Overseeing health and safety controls, systems, and procedures across the business.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience in a health and safety role (essential).


• Holds a Health and Safety diploma/degree, or other similar qualification (desirable).


• Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Has strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.


• Can work on their own initiative.


• Is IT literate and comfortable using internal systems.


• Holds a full UK driving licence.

Location: Lloyd Ltd Carlisle, Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, CA3 0EF. However, we would consider applicants who are able to work from one of our other Lloyd Ltd depot locations.

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
