Job summary

Lloyd Ltd Carlisle is hiring an Agricultural Engineer to service, maintain, and repair a range of agricultural machinery. You will work both in the workshop and in the field, diagnose faults, and ensure high-quality repairs.

Excellent customer service and accurate admin, including warranty paperwork, are required. The ideal candidate has completed an engineering apprenticeship or holds qualifications for servicing agricultural machinery and has experience in the sector.

• Experience in the agricultural machinery sector.
• IT literate and comfortable using internal systems.
• Strong communication skills and professional approach.

Are you a skilled and motivated engineer with experience working on agricultural machinery? Whether you’re already working in the sector or looking for a new challenge with a leading, family run business, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for an Agricultural Engineer to join our busy and friendly team at Lloyd Ltd Carlisle.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of agricultural machinery.
• Working both in our workshop and out in the field to support customer needs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to the highest standards.
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Completing all relevant administration including warranty paperwork and job cards.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship and/or holds certified qualifications in the servicing and repair of agricultural machinery.
• Has previous experience in the agricultural machinery sector.
• Is a proactive team player who can also work independently.
• Can handle pressure and manage deadlines.
• Is IT literate and comfortable using internal systems.
• Has strong communication skills and a professional approach.

Location: Based at Lloyd Ltd Carlisle (Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA3 0EF).

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with additional overtime available.
