Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor to provide on-site health and safety support across Berkshire & Surrey. You will manage your own diary with autonomy, reporting to the Director of Safety within a growing team of Advisors and Trainers.

You will review risk assessments, conduct site audits and incident investigations, and deliver sound health and safety advice across diverse client sites. NEBOSH qualification and construction industry experience are required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction / General or equivalent.
• Experience in the construction industry or similar.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing risk assessments and method statements for clients.
• Conducting site audits and site inspections for client sites.
• Conducting and assisting with incident investigations when required.
• Providing advice and support to clients around health and safety.
• Carrying out fire risk assessments and environmental audits.
• Building positive relationships with on-site teams and clients to drive forward a positive health and safety culture whilst delivering top-level health and safety services.

Principal People are working with a growing Construction Consultancy to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor due to growth within the business. The role is to provide on-site health and safety support to a variety of clients and projects predominately across Berkshire & Surrey.

This role has a great level of autonomy on a day-to-day basis, allowing you to manage your own diary giving you the flexibility to make work, work for you!

The role reports to the Director of Safety, alongside a growing team of Health and Safety Advisors and Trainers. The role will expose you to a wide variety of projects and environments, giving you the opportunity to further develop your health and safety knowledge and experience.
