Principal People are recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor for a growing Construction Consultancy, delivering on-site safety support across Berkshire and Surrey. You will have NEBOSH Construction/General or equivalent, autonomy to manage your diary, and the opportunity to develop your health and safety knowledge within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction/General qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in the construction industry or similar.
• On-site health and safety support experience.

Responsibilities

• Review risk assessments and method statements for clients.
• Conduct site audits and inspections at client sites.
• Carry out incident investigations when required.
• Provide health and safety advice and support to clients.
• Perform fire risk assessments and environmental audits.
• Build relationships with on-site teams and clients to promote safety.

Are you looking for a diverse role with autonomy on a day-to-day basis?

Principal People are working with a growing Construction Consultancy to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor due to growth within the business. The role is to provide on-site health and safety support to a variety of clients and projects predominately across Berkshire & Surrey.

This role has a great level of autonomy on a day-to-day basis, allowing you to manage your own diary giving you the flexibility to make work, work for you!

The role reports to the Director of Safety, alongside a growing team of Health and Safety Advisors and Trainers. The role will expose you to a wide variety of projects and environments, giving you the opportunity to further develop your health and safety knowledge and experience.

What you will be doing:

• Reviewing risk assessments and method statements for clients.
• Conducting site audits and site inspections for client sites.
• Conducting and assisting with incident investigations when required.
• Providing advice and support to clients around health and safety.
• Carrying out fire risk assessments and environmental audits.
• Building positive relationships with on-site teams and clients to drive forward a positive health and safety culture whilst delivering top-level health and safety services.
