Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Health and Safety Administrator to join its Health and Safety team at the Bedford College Cauldwell Street Campus. This full-time, permanent role focuses on administering health and safety processes, maintaining systems, supporting audits, and coordinating activities across campuses while upholding safeguarding and inclusion.

Ideal candidates will hold Level 2 IT, English and Maths, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to produce accurate reports for

Qualifications

• Holds Level 2 qualifications in IT, English and Maths.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to produce professional reports and documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Health and Safety team and manage enquiries and diaries.
• Maintain health and safety systems and databases (Smartlog, I-Trent) with accurate data.
• Assist with audits, inspections, training, and reporting of management information.
• Manage first aid equipment records, DSE claims, and Lone Worker Monitoring records.
• Support cross-campus activities and promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
