Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) seeks a dynamic strategic leader to provide system-wide leadership and direction for health improvement and inequalities within Renfrewshire HSCP. The Health Improvement and Inequalities Manager will lead the Health Improvement Team with a focus on reducing health inequalities.

The post holder will develop and deliver long-term population-level approaches, ensuring alignment with national and local priorities and effective partnership working across NHS,

Qualifications

• Degree qualification with a Masters in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience at strategic level influencing across organisational boundaries.
• Proven ability to lead partnership working and manage organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Health Improvement Team.
• Lead development and delivery of long-term population-level health improvement approaches.
• Ensure alignment with national and local priorities and effective partnership working.
• Oversee strategy development, performance and workforce leadership.
