Job description
Overview

We are currently recruiting full and part time Healthcare Support Workers to join our Out-Patient Team, to support the preparation and effective running of our clinics and procedure room.

We have 2 posts currently available:

  • Part Time (30.75 hours per week)
  • Part Time (28.5 hours per week)

Under current Home Office Immigration Rules, this role does not meet the UK Visas and Immigration criteria and the position is not therefore eligible for skilled worker sponsorship. Applications from candidates that require skilled worker sponsorship will NOT be shortlisted.

Main duties of the job
  1. You will be trained to undertake skills including Venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, urine testing, bladder scanning and will use these skills daily as well as undertaking training to work in enhanced procedure area, working as support for registered practitioners.
  2. Start times of shifts will be variable, from 07.30 am onwards, we are open 6 days a week including evenings, to 8pm. To meet service demand the ability to work flexible/ variable shifts is essential.
  3. We are looking for a colleague who can communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and applicants must be confident in keeping our patients updated with information.
  4. Our out-patient healthcare assistants play a vital role in maintaining standards of cleanliness. They also undertake manual handling of patients & equipment, and the role involves standing/ walking for lengthy periods of time.
