Health Care Assistant - Domiciliary Care

Location: Shrewsbury

Hours: Full Time

Type: Permanent

Job Requirements / Description

1. Right to work in England
2. Care Certificate
3. Valid DBS
4. British Driving License
5. Understand and can speak good English
6. Competent

35p per mile

Guaranteed: 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts Available

Days and Nights available:

12 to 14 hour shifts

Days - 6.45am - 9pm

Nights - 7pm - 8am

Essential Skills/Experience

Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with customers, their families or representatives, CCHC Ltd staff and other social and health care professionals. Ability to give care and support to customers with all aspects of personal care.

Ideal Candidate/Profile

1. All aspects of personal care such as showering and bathing, dressing and grooming, dental hygiene, toileting and continence care.
2. Assisting with medicines, ordering and collecting prescriptions or returning unwanted medicines to the pharmacy for safe disposal.
3. Supporting the customer with diet.
