We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support our inpatient mental health services at Derby, working in newly built facilities as part of our Making Room for Dignity programme. This role involves supporting patients with complex acute mental health needs in a 24-hour inpatient setting, including shift work covering mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing direct patient care under supervision
2. Supporting patients with daily activities and therapeutic engagement
3. Monitoring and reporting on patient status
4. Assisting in care planning and team collaboration

Qualifications and skills required:

• Band 3 Healthcare Assistant experience or equivalent
• Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
