We are seeking a compassionate and caring Health Care Assistant to join our team.
In this vital role, the Health Care Assistant will work closely with the School Nurse (supporting and under their direction) to provide frontline first aid to pupils and staff. You will also offer pastoral care, stepping in to support students when pastoral staff are engaged in teaching.
The Health Care Assistant will support the School Reception function when not directly involved in providing first aid or emotional support, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a welcoming environment for all.
The successful applicant will undertake a comprehensive training programme, delivered in in person, online and where necessary by external providers. Depending on the applicants' current qualifications, some training may be required in August 2025.

Start Date: 1st September 2025.
Working Hours: 07:45 – 16:15 2 days a week during term time, and all staff training and development days (which may fall on any day of the week). Flexibility in working days is required to support school events, and during the school holidays for mandatory training. Please state in your application or cover letter your preferred working days.
Salary: Term time full time equivalent salary of £19,000 - £24,500, depending on experience (Actual £7,600 - £9,800 per annum).
