Senior Care Assistant - Day Shifts - Immediate Start in North Finchley, N12

Ventry Care is recruiting Senior Care Assistants for our residential care home. We care for older persons, including those living with dementia.

Rate from £14.00 per hour, plus great benefits and career development opportunities towards management roles for candidates who excel in the role. We offer flexible hours between 24 and 36 hours per week, 4 to 5 days.

The Role
  1. Run a shift to meet the care needs of residents, organizing staff around medication, personal care, continence, moving and handling, mealtime support, social activities, and other tasks.
  2. Build strong professional relationships with residents, their families, healthcare professionals, and your manager, ensuring everyone is well-informed and involved.
  3. Follow guidelines and policies, and utilize care management software, smartphones, and tablets to record care provided and support residents' care plans.
  4. Support residents to live independently, enjoy daily activities, and exercise choice in their daily lives.
  5. Ensure residents feel safe, comfortable, and secure, making them feel at home.

What We Need You To Have

Experience working with older people in residential care, willingness to learn, flexibility, patience, caring nature, organization skills, enthusiasm, and good interpersonal skills.

Completion of QCF Levels 1-5 (or NVQ 2 or 3 in Care).
