Job summary

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant for our Outpatients teams. You will support a range of clinics, assist consultants and nurses, and help with dressings and wound care while maintaining patient comfort and clinical efficiency.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care with relevant acute hospital or care‑setting experience, and offers a flexible ad-hoc schedule including weekend shifts in a supportive, patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care required.
• Experience in an acute hospital or care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist colleagues in outpatient clinics and support various specialties.
• Help ensure day-to-day operations of clinics run smoothly.
• Assist consultants and nurses with procedures such as dressings and wound care.
• Provide patient-centred care and maintain high standards of communication.
