About the Role

Role Overview

As a Health Advisor with Bupa Clinics, you’ll utilize your training and education to support our customers by providing education on health-related topics. Your primary focus will be on engaging with customers, applying your expertise to support their health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

1. Support the service delivery of Health Assessments to customers.
2. Maintain accurate client records and participate in the end-to-end process.
3. Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle in accordance with Bupa’s current clinical policies.
4. Carry out clinical testing, including body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, gas analysis, blood tests for diabetes markers, blood pressure measurement, cholesterol profiling, anaemia markers, electrocardiograms, audiometry, and movement screening.
5. Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behavior change.
6. Conduct post-assessment follow-up calls to support positive change and action plans.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or equivalent in exercise physiology, sports science, or nutrition.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Experience with measurement or assessment in health, fitness, or medical environments is desirable.
• Accuracy in recording information and adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Ability to build rapport and tailor approach to individuals.
• Empathy and motivation skills to encourage positive health changes.
