Job description

Protection & Private Healthcare Consultant

PIB Employee Benefits consultants adopt an approach of supporting organisations across all areas of financial and non-financial rewards that meet the needs of a business and its employees. This includes healthcare, corporate pensions, risk, employee benefit communications, and employee benefits technology.

This role requires travel and client visits on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:
  1. Generate new business income through client acquisition, primarily from leads provided by the company, as well as from self-generated opportunities.
  2. Ensure customer satisfaction, measured by internal surveys and external measures such as Investors in Customers.
  3. Manage relationships with the company's lead generation and customer service teams, insurers, and other providers.
  4. Negotiate premiums with insurers to secure good value outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
Experience:
  1. Experience in the Financial Services market and protection insurance is essential.
  2. Proven success in converting potential customer inquiries.
  3. Experience building relationships with insurers, clients, and account managers.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  5. Minimum Cert CII or willingness to study towards this qualification.
  6. Knowledge of Financial Services regulations and ethics.
  7. Ability to negotiate successfully on behalf of customers.
  8. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Well-organized, able to respond under pressure and meet deadlines.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  11. Adaptability to change within the business and market environments.
