Job Description:

Occupational Health Nurse Advisor *REMOTE*

Hours: 2-3 days per week (Approx. 21 hours)

Contract: Temporary initially, with the possibility of extension

Location: Remote (must attend an in-person induction)

Our local authority client in the North West is recruiting an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct management referrals, including initial consultations, assessments, and follow-up reports.
• Provide clinical advice on employee health, fitness for work, return-to-work plans, and workplace adjustments.
• Liaise with HR and managers to deliver timely reports supporting workforce decisions.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health policies, governance, and confidentiality standards.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (NMC registration required)
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma)
• At least 3-4 years' experience in Occupational Health roles
• Strong experience with management referrals
• EOPAS system experience is highly desirable
