This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), fixed-term position based at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln. The university offers a range of undergraduate to PhD programs and is located on a historic campus close to Lincoln's main attractions.
Role Summary: You will provide twilight mental health support within the Student Advice team, working closely with the full-time Mental Health Adviser. The role involves one-to-one student support, creating and implementing care plans, conducting risk assessments, liaising with local health services, responding to staff referrals, and delivering professional development activities for staff. The working hours are between 7 pm and midnight.
Qualifications: A degree or equivalent, including a recognized mental health nursing, social work, or psychological therapy qualification. You should have expertise in the mental health needs of young adults and/or students in higher education. DBS clearance for safeguarding and working with vulnerable adults is required.
