Polaris Education in Scunthorpe invites applications for a Headteacher to lead a new school serving up to 42 pupils with complex needs, aged 5–18. The post is full-time, term-time only, with a salary £50,000–£60,000 dependent on experience.

You will shape educational strategy, safeguarding framework, and SEN advocacy, recruit and develop staff, and build strong links with families and the Polaris Community, which has delivered Good/Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.

Qualifications

• QTS with primary/secondary teaching experience.
• Experience working with SEN students.
• Proven leadership skills and strong communication.

Responsabilités

• Educational Leadership: develop and implement a vision aligned with Polaris ethos and ensure compliance with standards.
• Safeguarding: lead safeguarding and policy development with partners.
• Curriculum Enhancement: tailor curriculum to diverse needs and progression.
• Staff Development: mentor staff and promote collaborative growth.
• Community Engagement: build relationships with parents and external partners.
