Job summary

The Library champagne bar, located within The Edwardian Manchester Hotel, seeks a Head Waiter/Waitress to lead the waiting team and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will train and coach staff, manage reservations, and collaborate with the Bar Manager to maintain high service standards across shifts. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior waiter/supervisor/head waiter role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Passionate about hospitality and customer service.

We are currently recruiting for a Head Waiter / Waitress for The Library champagne bar located within The Edwardian Manchester Hotel.

Overview:

• Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with company standards and health & safety requirements.
• Support stock control and daily operational procedures where required.

About You:

• Has previous experience in a senior waiter/waitress, supervisor, or head waiter role.
• Demonstrates excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Is passionate about hospitality and customer service.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Has a flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and busy periods.
