Job summary

AccorHotel presents a Head Waiter role at The Hoxton, Shoreditch, within our Llama Inn Restaurant. Lead your section by example, delivering memorable guest and team experiences and inspiring others to elevate the service.

You will know our Peruvian-inspired menu inside out, connect floor and kitchen, handle guest requests with a warm, no-ego approach, and help create a fun, hardworking team culture across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a busy restaurant or bar.
• Positive impact on guests and team.
• Willingness to be yourself and not rely on rigid formality.
• Team player who helps get things done.
• Open to doing things differently and trying new ideas.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Head Waiter to be part of our team for The Hoxton, Shoreditch in our Llama Inn Restaurant.

Llama Inn is a warm open space with natural wood furniture, tall ceilings, and steel beams. Our cuisine encompasses all things Peru, including ceviche, our famous lomo Saltado, Cancha and other unique Peruvian fair. Our cocktail and spirit list hail from Peru with none other than pisco being the star of the show and a creative cocktail menu with unique takes on the classics from around the globe. While the wine lists breaths Spain and Latin America with options by the glass and bottle to titillate any palate. Whether early or late, Llama Inn is a full dining experience for any celebration/occasion.

Job Description

• Lead your section by example, putting a memorable guest and team experience at the centre of what you do and inspiring others around you to do as you do
• Bring your own flavour to our guests’ table, making sure that from the moment they arrive to when they leave, they’re having a great time
• Play a key part in connecting the floor with the kitchen, handling any requests and questions, be they from our guests or the team
• Know your products and systems inside out

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar
• You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience
