Job summary

Tesco Stores Limited at Head Office in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure our buildings are safe and welcoming for customers and colleagues. You'll maintain a range of systems and equipment, work from planned schedules and react to issues, and contribute to a high standard across the site.

You'll join a skilled maintenance team, use tablets to view daily schedules, and engage in safety, compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent required.
• Full driving license.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Office 365 applications.
• Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
• Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
• General day to day property maintenance.
• Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
• Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities and planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
• Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
• Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
