Tesco across Swindon and surrounding areas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure our stores remain safe, functional, and welcoming for customers and colleagues. You’ll be part of a skilled team carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, helping operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, engineering or construction environments.
• Digitally confident, able to view daily work schedules on a tablet and manage emails.
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with external contractors to coordinate repairs.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver quality service.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to keep stores operating smoothly.
• Minimize disruption to customers during repairs.
• Attend local and national meetings and share knowledge.
