Job summary

Tesco across Halifax and Bradford areas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure stores are safe, functional, and welcoming. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on various systems, using your technical skills to resolve issues while prioritising safety and quality.

This hands-on role offers ongoing training, career growth, and the chance to be part of a leading UK retail brand. The Hiring Manager is Danny Fothergill.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
• Digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
• Full driving license and health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Interact confidently with external contractors to coordinate repairs.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver quality service.
• Maintain equipment and facilities across Tesco stores with high energy and efficiency.
• Minimise disruption to customers during repairs.
• Attend local and national meetings and provide input and feedback.
