Job summary

DWF is seeking a seasoned Workplace Services leader in Manchester to own and optimize all facilities operations across multiple sites. You will lead a team of 11, manage budgets, and drive service excellence while aligning with broader workplace strategy and sustainability goals.

In this role you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, shape space planning, ensure health and safety compliance, and continuously improve the employee and client experience in a high-profile environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Professional FM qualification (IWFM Level 6/MIWFM/CIWFM).
• Essential: Leadership experience in facilities or workplace management (multi-site preferred).
• Essential: Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and building regulations.
• Essential: Experience managing budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Essential: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Essential: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Desirable: Experience in professional services or corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Own Workplace Services across Manchester offices, ensuring smooth day-to-day facilities operations (maintenance, cleaning, security, waste, procurement).
• Lead a team of 11, set expectations, drive performance and maintain high service standards.
• Manage budgets, oversee procurement and vendor performance, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
• Shape future workplace strategy including space planning, sustainability, and technology; advise senior stakeholders.
