Markel Group in London seeks a Senior Workplace Operations Manager to lead occupancy planning, workplace standards and service delivery across our International HQ at 20 Fenchurch Street. You will partner with senior stakeholders, landlords and service providers to create a resilient, hybrid-ready environment.

Role requires onsite presence 3 days per week, with flexible coverage to ensure continuous operations and a high-quality employee and visitor experience.

Competenze

• Significant experience leading workplace, facilities or corporate real estate operations in a complex corporate environment.
• Proven track record developing high-performing teams and delivering first-class service.
• Commercial experience across budgets, contracts and supplier management.
• Experience delivering workplace projects and organisational change initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.

Mansioni

• Lead workplace operations across International HQ and Lloyd's office allocation, ensuring standards and employee experience.
• Develop a high-performing team for reception, visitor management, meeting room and events.
• Shape service delivery models to align with business growth and hybrid working.
• Own occupancy planning, space utilisation and workplace strategy aligned to objectives.
• Provide practical solutions and recommendations to senior leaders on workplace matters.
• Drive projects from planning to delivery, including moves and refurbishments.
• Manage key suppliers across hard/soft services and ensure value for money.
• Oversee budgets, expenditure and commercial decisions with service excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency and consistency.
• Establish governance and reporting on workplace performance and risks.
