Job summary

National Theatre seeks a Head of Trusts & Foundations to lead a team of specialist fundraisers and manage a personal portfolio of major grant givers. You will develop innovative strategies to grow income and collaborate with our sister charity, National Theatre in America, to expand opportunities.

Applicants should have a track record with high value relationships, excellent communication, and experience engaging with chairs, trustees and high net worth individuals.

Job description

We are looking for Head of Trusts & Foundations join the National Theatre's Development team.

This is a senior role in the Development Department of the National Theatre, working collaboratively across the team to build a positive team culture and generate income for the National Theatre. The Head of Trusts and Foundations leads a team of specialist Trust and Foundation fundraisers, and manages a personal portfolio of major grant givers and prospects. The post-holder will build on the team's current success as well as seek out and implement new, innovative strategies to grow the NT’s income.The role also collaborates closely with our sister charity, National Theatre in America, which raises funds for the National Theatre's work in the US and the UK, offering exciting opportunities for income growth and personal development.

The successful candidates will have the following:
