Job summary

Alstom in Derby seeks a Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead a Project Supply Chain Leads team, delivering materials for multiple rail vehicle projects and ensuring KPIs, high availability, and optimised inventory.

You will develop scalable strategies, collaborate with engineering, procurement, and logistics, and drive improvements using ERP, analytics, lean methods and risk management to strengthen performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain operations leadership.
• Expertise in ERP systems, data analytics, lean methodologies, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong understanding of logistics, procurement, inventory optimisation, and risk management.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to inspire teams and drive results.
