Job summary

Alstom in Eastham Depot is seeking a Production Depot Supervisor to lead safe and efficient operations, delivering the daily plan and ensuring trains are produced on time and in a fully functional condition. You will manage production teams, implement 5S and lean methodologies, conduct quality audits, and coordinate with maintenance across shifts to optimise resources and reduce costs.

The role requires experience in depot environments, strong leadership, and commitment to safety and quality

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in engineering or recognised equivalent.
• Experience leading maintenance or production teams.
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean and Kaizen in a depot setting.
• Experience with safety and quality standards in rail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of Eastham Depot per plan.
• Manage production teams and optimise resource use.
• Ensure on-time delivery of trains with safety and quality.
• Lead audits and incident reporting.
• Drive cost efficiency and lean improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production staff.
