Job summary

Salary Finance is seeking a Head of Strategic Programmes to drive cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams and touch go-to-market activities as well as internal projects. You will report to the Chief Product Officer and shape the discipline, structure and momentum across the portfolio.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, coordinating product, commercial, marketing and operations to land launches on time and with clear accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in a fast paced business, ideally including product or GTM launches.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with and influencing senior leaders including C-suite
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities without losing sight of the detail
• Clear, confident communicator, able to flex between hands-on delivery and strategic conversations with leadership
• Comfortable building structure and process from scratch, rather than just working within an existing one
• Strong analytical skills, able to use data to inform decisions and track progress

Responsibilities

• Own end to end delivery of strategic programmes and projects that span multiple business areas, acting as the single point of accountability from scoping through to launch and embedding
• Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, coordinating product, commercial, marketing and operations so launches land on time and in a joined up way
• Take on internal, cross-functional projects as they arise, working out what needs to happen, who needs to be involved, and how to get it done without getting stuck in silos
• Build a strategic programmes framework, putting in place templates and ways of working that make future projects easier to run well
• Act as a trusted partner to the CPO and senior stakeholders across the business, translating strategic priorities into clear project plans with realistic timelines and resourcing
• Identify and manage risks and dependencies across projects, escalating early and clearly so decisions can be made in good time
• Report regularly on programme and project status, progress and outcomes to senior leadership, in a way that is honest, clear and focused on what matters
• Bring structure and pace to ambiguous problems, defining scope and success criteria where none currently exist
