Job summary

Levy UK, the food and drink partner for Cardiff City Football Club, seeks a Head of Retail Food & Beverage to lead and optimise retail, hospitality and catering across the stadium.

You will drive strategic and operational leadership, manage budgets, and deliver client satisfaction while achieving commercial targets. The role requires strong supplier and team management, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-efficient operations for event and non-event days.

Qualifications

• Significant operational experience across retail, hospitality and logistics/supply chain.
• Experience in multisite, stadium or event catering environments preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with budget and financial target ownership.
• Proven leadership of shift-based teams including casual staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Operational Managers to deliver first-class retail, bar and concession operations on event and non-event days.
• Ensure matchday and event-day readiness: outlets stocked, staffed and set up to standard.
• Oversee critical checks across retail areas to uphold service and quality standards.
• Monitor customer journey, capture feedback and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety and security procedures; manage facilities issues.
• Provide strategic oversight of procurement, inventory and stock control to minimise waste.
