Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking a Head Of Retail Food & Beverage to lead retail, hospitality and logistics operations at Cardiff City Stadium. You will oversee front-of-house retail and back-of-house logistics, setting up outlets, managing procurement, and driving commercial performance on event and non-event days.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a track record of delivering KPIs in a stadium or large-venue environment.

Qualifications

• Significant operational experience across retail, hospitality and logistics in multisite venues.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail and beverage environments; proven logistics management.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, GP, COS and financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Operational Managers to deliver first class retail, bar and concession operations on event and non-event days.
• Own matchday and event day readiness: outlets, bars and concessions stocked and staffed to standard.
• Conduct and oversee critical checks across retail areas to uphold service and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and venue security/profit protection procedures.
• Drive cost control, procurement, inventory management and waste reduction across the site.
