Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Head Chef to lead a kitchen team in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will plan, prepare and supervise nutritious meals, ensuring dietary needs and cultural preferences are respected while maintaining HACCP standards.

You will manage stock, budgets and orders, and work with central teams to deliver a well-organised kitchen operation and an engaging dining experience for Residents.

Qualifications

• S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for Residents.
• Oversee stock, budgets, orders and ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with central teams to maintain nutritional excellence and efficient kitchen operations.
• Create an inviting, ambient dining experience to enhance Residents' quality of life.
