Job summary

HC-One is recruiting a Head Chef to lead in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes in the UK. You will inspire the kitchen team to prepare high‑quality, nutritious meals that meet dietary needs, cultural preferences and wellbeing goals.

You will manage stock, budgets and orders while upholding food safety standards such as HACCP, and collaborate with central teams to maintain nutritional excellence in a well‑organised kitchen.

Qualifications

S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
Good understanding of HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

Inspire kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals.
Oversee stock, budgets and orders while ensuring food safety standards.
Coordinate with central teams to maintain nutritional excellence.
Plan and deliver a well-organised kitchen operation and mealtimes.
