Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Head of Sea Ceptor C2 subsystem to lead a systems engineering team. You will drive requirements analysis, co-design with software and hardware teams, and produce proving plans with certification evidence to meet evolving customer needs.

The role offers engagement across MBDA's business and defence customers, delivering secure, high-performance C2 capabilities and opportunities to shape next-generation weapon system functionality.

Qualifications

• Proactive with a mind for product-line development and systems thinking.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities across multiple functions.
• Experience in systems design and systems engineering for complex equipment.
• Experience across the full product development lifecycle.
• Applied experience of work package management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of systems engineers responsible for requirements analysis and co-design with software, hardware, human factors and algorithms engineers.
• Produce proving plans and generate compliance evidence for certification of the product.
• Ensure the product meets updated and new needs through multiple development contracts.
• Collaborate across MBDA to influence the full product development lifecycle and customer delivery.
