Job summary

MBDA in Bristol is seeking a Validation and Verification Lead to own C2 test scenarios and verification plans, ensuring the C2 product meets its requirements. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to influence the Sea Ceptor program.

You will lead a small team, coordinate evidence generation, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver robust software validation and secure project milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Validation and Verification process.
• Ability to lead small teams to achieve planned outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively within cross functional teams.
• Proficiency with DOORS, Rhapsody or similar tools.
• Degree in STEM or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team in DOORS Compliance Matrices modules to evidence performance against requirements.
• Analyze test results to validate C2 software operation.
• Define test scenarios and descriptions to support software testing.
• Support issue resolution during software testing.
• Produce technical, safety, and security reports from evidence and analysis.
• Generate progress metrics and reports for stakeholders.
• Engage with wider project stakeholders in the Weapon System design process.
• Meet project schedules by tracking progress and predicting completion dates.
• Manage change processes and embodiment of requirements changes.
• Carry out process improvement tasks as directed by Head of Sea Ceptor C2.
