MBDA is seeking a Head of Subsystems for the Sea Ceptor programme. You will lead the development and delivery into service of major platform subsystem equipment, including command and control, system control, launch management and platform datalink, while ensuring safety and timely delivery.

The role involves coordinating across multi-programme subsystems, managing updates, and guiding design authorities to integrate with Mk41 launcher and other platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex work packages and managing risks/opportunities.
• Ability to build strong relationships with Sea Ceptor and other MBDA teams.
• Strategic thinking to evolve products across contracts and product lines.
• Excellent management of engineering stakeholders across systems, electronics, software, and test equipment.
• Experience in development and certification processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and delivery into service for Sea Ceptor subsystem equipment.
• Ensure subsystems meet design certificates and delivery targets for cost/quality/schedule.
• Guide and oversee design authorities across multiple concurrent programmes.
• Manage mid-life updates and obsolescence, plus in-service product support.
• Provide oversight for new bids within the subsystems group.
