Job summary

Experis is seeking a Data Automations Manager to own Salesforce tools that support customer engagement across the business. Hybrid role in Manchester, with 3 days on site, offering £50k-£65k and broad leadership of a small Data Automation team.

You will drive data flows, maintain the Single Customer View, ensure data quality and enable personalised multi-channel journeys using Salesforce technologies. Strong SQL and governance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience including Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
• Knowledge of Data Cloud, Personalisation and Service Cloud exposure.
• Proficient SQL and data integration skills with Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Experience with change management, governance, and knowledge transfer in data-led teams.
• Ability to enforce data quality and secure, safe-to-send practices.
• Proven people-management skills to lead a small specialist team.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for Salesforce-powered customer communications.
• Maintain and enhance Single Customer View and data hygiene.
• Ensure seamless integration between internal systems and Salesforce ecosystem.
• Oversee data pipelines, automations, and delivery guardrails.
• Lead and develop the Data Automation team with mentoring.
• Embed governance and handover processes for knowledge retention.
• Collaborate with CRM, Commercial, Data Insights, Analytics and DevOps teams.
• Enable personalisation at scale using data and platform capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and automate manual tasks.
• Support reliable reporting and dashboards for self-serve insights.
