Job summary

interactive investor is seeking a Data Automations Manager to own Salesforce tools supporting customer engagement and commercial activity. You will lead a small Data Automation team, ensuring reliable data flows and strong governance across Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and Personalisation.

You will oversee multi-channel journeys, data quality, and reporting, partnering with CRM, Analytics and DevOps to drive scalable personalisation and actionable insights for the business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience (Content & Automation Studio, Journey Builder, AMPscript).
• Knowledge of Data Cloud and Personalisation; Service Cloud exposure.
• SQL and data integrations on Snowflake or similar.
• Experience in change governance and documentation.
• Data quality and security best practices.
• People management experience.
• CRM and marketing tech in data-led teams.
• Scale personalisation using data.
• Reporting and dashboards experience.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving.
• Clear communicator with attention to detail.
• AI tools such as Einstein or Agentforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for Salesforce ecosystem powering customer communications across channels.
• Maintain and enhance the Single Customer View with data hygiene and timely data flows into Salesforce.
• Ensure internal systems connect with the Salesforce ecosystem, supporting real-time, multi-channel journeys.
• Oversee data pipelines, automations, change controls and delivery guardrails.
• Lead, support and develop the Data Automation team and reduce key-person dependency.
• Embed governance, documentation and handover processes for knowledge retention.
• Collaborate with CRM, Commercial, Data Insights, Analytics and Salesforce DevOps teams.
• Enable personalisation at scale using data and platform capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and automate tasks across the lifecycle.
• Support reliable reporting and dashboards for self-serve insights.
