Head of Sales UK

The Role:
As Head of Sales UK, you will support the Country Manager in driving sales performance for this high-profile region. Leading by example, you will foster a culture of high challenge and high support to ensure that our sales teams can deliver for Ebury and achieve their personal career goals.
Responsibilities:
- Establish sales objectives and develop annual sales quotas, ensuring accurate forecasting of expected sales volume.
- Implement regional sales programs for sales action and training plans.
- Ensure adherence to company-wide sales methodology and sales administration processes.
- Lead and manage the Sales team (through Heads of Desk/Senior Sales Executives) by recruiting, training, coaching, and managing performance against quotas and metrics.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Corporate Development, and Product teams to ensure effective product messaging and provide feedback for product positioning and development.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies.
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving specific results.
- Recruit as needed to meet regional demand.
About You:
- Proven track record of sales leadership within FX and cross-border financial services (e.g., international payments, collections, FX risk management).
- Strong experience and network in Financial Services.
- Experience selling in a commercial bank to mid-size corporates, and in non-bank environments like start-ups or FX specialists.
- Knowledge of the local market and experience scaling recruitment.
- Ability to motivate and energize a sales organization.
- History of exceeding sales quotas and market share targets.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of securing commitment and aligning teams.
- Experience taking control, setting goals, and executing independently.
- Ability to mentor, manage, and develop team members.
- Leadership skills to guide the sales team and facilitate collaboration.
- Capability to provide field leadership, develop customer-focused sales strategies, and highlight key selling points based on customer needs.
- Experience building relationships with senior SME clients.
