Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates seeks a dynamic Head of Sales to lead the sales function for a leading construction and passive fire protection business. Based mainly at the Rochdale site, you will drive revenue growth, manage the sales team, and collaborate with Customer Services, Marketing, Technical and Production to ensure commercial success.

You will act as a brand ambassador, deliver CPD seminars, oversee budgets, and represent the company at industry events with some UK-wide travel.

Qualifications

• Background in passive fire protection or construction sectors
• Experience in product or customer service with technical product management
• Experience delivering CPD presentations
• Strong technical aptitude to grasp product specs and compliance
• Solution-based sales approach with a customer-first attitude
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• CRM/ERP familiarity; Tropos and HubSpot advantageous
• Familiarity with CAD drawings and technical schematics
• MS Office and ERP/CRM proficiency

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the regional sales teams in the UK and Ireland with KPIs
• Drive field sales of passive fire protection products to architects, contractors and installers
• Generate specifications, protect and track project pipeline, price effectively
• Collaborate with marketing, technical and production on tools and case studies
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities; provide commercial insights to senior management
• Deliver accurate sales forecasts and define product sales targets
• Be accountable for national sales operations including workforce planning
• Oversee adoption of sales and marketing automation tools
• Deliver data-driven reports on pipeline health, conversion rates, lead performance, market segmentation
• Manage CPD seminars and product training; represent brand at trade shows
• Travel to visit project sites and key accounts
