Position: Head of Sales (Maritime Industry)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 DOE + Commission + Travel Opportunities + Healthcare Package + Gym Membership

Location: Exeter

Are you a sales manager or similar professional with an interest in the maritime industry? Are you looking to utilize your extensive sales knowledge to develop and inspire a team of sales professionals?

We offer an opportunity to join a company operating from offices across Europe, with over 25 years of experience supplying the maritime industry. The company provides comprehensive services including procurement and logistical support to ensure vessels operate smoothly and efficiently. Their clients include Hapag-Lloyd, Virgin, Carnival, and some of the most prestigious superyachts and shipyards worldwide.

In this role, you will take proactive leadership of the sales team, responsible for growing and inspiring talent, sharing experience, and motivating the team.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Developing new business strategies
  2. Analyzing and critiquing reports to identify challenges and promote growth
  3. Ensuring performance targets are met
The Role:
  • Attending national and international networking events to promote the company
  • Driving business growth through effective sales strategies
  • Empowering the sales teams to be entrepreneurial and strategic
  • Leading the implementation of the company's strategic growth plan
  • Introducing and implementing new business ideas to increase revenue
  • Managing gross margins and continuously reviewing sales activity resourcing
