Job summary

Inspire Resourcing Ltd in Chesterfield is seeking a Head of Sales to lead and grow the sales function from our Head Office. You will drive revenue growth, shape sales strategy, and manage a high-performing team in a fast-growing business.

We are looking for a proven senior sales leader with FMCG experience and a strong track record of delivering growth, alongside strategic planning, CRM proficiency, and exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in sales leadership roles.
• Proven track record of delivering sales growth.
• Experience in FMCG is highly desirable.
• Understanding of manufacturing or distribution sectors.
• Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales metrics.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to exceed targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance, forecasts and metrics.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing, customer service and senior management.
• Manage sales budgets and resource use.
• Drive improvements in sales processes and engagement.
• Support recruitment, coaching and development of sales staff.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions.
