Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Manager, Business Development to lead a high-performing SaaS BD team, building and coaching a group of BDRs to deliver a strong pipeline. You will align sales and marketing strategies, drive quality opportunities, and collaborate across departments to support Sovos’ sales operations.

You will hire, train, and lead, develop outbound strategies, ensure timely follow-ups, and maintain a culture of accountability, aiming to exceed targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a leadership role managing a team of 4+ Business Development Representatives.
• Proven track record of exceeding pipeline targets.
• Strong knowledge of prospecting and lead qualification.
• Proficient with CRM and sales tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and lead a team of inbound/outbound BDRs to maintain pipeline.
• Develop and execute outbound pipeline strategies to generate qualified opportunities.
• Oversee follow-up on marketing campaigns to qualify and develop leads.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to align strategy.
• Coach and enable the team to improve performance; ensure targets met.
