This senior role involves overseeing and managing all regulatory reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, strong analytical skills, and leadership abilities to ensure compliance across departments such as controllers, operations, risk, and business areas.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

1. Lead and develop the regulatory reporting team, providing guidance and support.
2. Ensure timely, accurate reporting to authorities like FCA and Bafin/Bundesbank, including MIFID PRU/IFR for European entities.
3. Monitor and report key regulatory metrics such as capital, liquidity, and concentration.
4. Support system and process development to meet evolving regulatory and business needs, including testing new reporting systems.
5. Collaborate with business and risk teams on capital planning, risk assessment, and capital allocation.
6. Optimize regulatory treatments to support business growth and development.
7. Maintain relationships with FCA and industry associations like AFME, managing escalations related to breaches.
8. Produce Pillar disclosures in collaboration with reporting and risk teams.
9. Assist in developing ICARA processes, including stress scenarios and wind-down plans.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related; advanced degrees or certifications (CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Extensive experience in regulatory reporting within investment banking.
• Deep knowledge of UK and EU regulations, including MIFIDPRU and IFR.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with regulatory reporting software and tools.
