Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a senior leader to build customer-facing recommendation and ranking algorithms within the Customer department. The role focuses on the home page ranking and recommender systems, collaborating with engineering and data science to deliver impactful product outcomes.

The successful candidate will own the strategy, lead discovery, and drive measurement frameworks that translate complex ML into tangible business value for users and partners across a global platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading data-driven product development at scale in ranking, recommendations, search or personalization.
• Proven ability to shape algorithmic approaches with data scientists and engineers.
• Strong track record of building and evolving experimentation and measurement frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term product vision, strategy and multi-horizon roadmap for recommendation systems.
• Drive deep understanding of user behavior at scale through quantitative analysis and experimentation.
• Partner with data science and engineering leadership to shape algorithmic approaches and architecture.
• Lead and scale product discovery, user research, competitive intelligence and opportunity sizing.
• Own the KPI framework for recommendations and drive accountability across teams.
