Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a senior product leader to build customer-facing recommendation and ranking algorithms within the Customer department. The role centers on our home page ranking and recommendation systems, calling for someone who thrives on data-powered problem solving and collaboration with engineering and data science teams.

You will shape the product strategy, own KPI frameworks, and drive experimentation to deliver value for customers and partners at scale.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading data-driven product development at scale, with deep domain expertise in ranking, recommendations, search, or personalisation.
• Strong technical fluency in ML/data science product development, able to shape algorithmic approaches with senior data scientists and engineers.
• Proven track record building and evolving experimentation and measurement frameworks driving business and customer impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for recommendation systems across product, engineering, and commercial.
• Drive deep understanding of user behaviour at scale using quantitative analysis, experiments, and qualitative insight.
• Partner with data science and engineering leadership to shape algorithmic approaches and architecture for product outcomes.
• Lead product discovery practices, setting standards for user research, competitive intelligence, and opportunity sizing.
• Own KPI framework for recommendations, set north star metrics, targets and accountability.
• Design and govern A/B testing and experimentation strategy ensuring learnings are applied across the portfolio.
• Drive prioritisation and investment decisions across a complex backlog in collaboration with senior leadership.
